Printed in Japan, made for Indonesia

Indonesian Pokémon cards are official Pokémon Trading Card Game product, licensed by The Pokémon Company and printed in Japan in Bahasa Indonesia for the Indonesian domestic market. They are not proxies, custom cards, or counterfeits. Because that market was served almost entirely through local retail and event channels, very little of the print reached Western collectors.

The back is the English print. Indonesian cards carry the standard international card back, the same one used on English cards, not the Japanese back. They sleeve and display alongside an English collection without standing out.

About the SM-P Indonesian promo series

The SM-P series covers Indonesian promotional cards from the Sun & Moon era. It begins with the Detective Pikachu 001/SM-P promo given away with cinema tickets in May 2019, ahead of the official Indonesian TCG launch on 8 August 2019 under AKG Games. Early SM-P cards had limited distribution and are among the harder Indonesian promos to source in near-mint condition.

How to verify this is a genuine Indonesian print

    • Card text is in Bahasa Indonesia, including attack and rules text
    • The back is the standard English-style international back, not the Japanese back
    • The copyright footer credits The Pokémon Company and is sharp and cleanly registered
    • Unfamiliar card numbers are expected. Most Indonesian promo numbers are not catalogued in English
    • Campaign stamps such as an Indomaret mark are an authentic feature, not a defect. On several cards the stamp is the entire point, and a stamped copy is worth more than an unstamped one
